I am depressed. I've had a shitty day. I misread some tiny piece of social bullshit and my mood went to shit. Total shit. I sit here in a filthy apartment, no food to eat (I'd have to cook and do the dishes). I started tumblr who cares? No one. My online dating is failing. And I look like a fat whale. Also my body continues to fall apart rapidly. I stayed home from my child-care class because I feel so shit. Also the fact the social worker I HATE would have to drive me. I don't know if I'm my meds or not today. And this fucking wank is the cherry on a shit sunday.
By the way I'm not able to do that anymore. There are meals in me from last week.

9:03 am - busy but not with Fandom.
|
I've been busy cooking a lot lately. I haven't worked on fanfics or anything. I feel pretty bad about that but my writing is being neglected all around. I really don't know what to say in fandom now. It's not interesting, I suppose when the new series comes out of Sherlock or Doctor who I might decide to talk again. But as for now, there is nothing. Nothing is really grabbing me. Well old episodes of Being Human UK but from what I understand all the characters I like end up deaded. Also no fandom really on Archive of Our own. Shame! Shame!
Also Withnail and I, for a movie I have to watch again, I love it. I also like My little Ponies, and Hunger Games although I'm not in the fandom for either. Hunger Games I'm more going: "What about Team Katniss?" Because it's centered mostly around her and her journey. I know everyone loves to put shipping in everything. Even I do. But whoever she chooses is fine. As for MLP. They are cartoon PONIES! Any sort of shipping is like well... shipping the Animanics. Just sorta making no sense on my end. But if you do, fine.
I suppose now, I'm just trying to write my own things. Yes that includes Minerva. I need to work out some things in my head. And read more. No idea about my head ATM.
If someone is posting on the meme Sherlock or Doctor who and looks like me, it ain't me. I have no interest at all in either at the moment. Well I like Top Chef. But it makes no sense.
I have bigger Real life fish to fry.

http://www.themarysue.com/on-the-fake-geek-girl/ I read this and I realize my behavior towards 'dumb fangirls' who do not say want to read ACD Sherlock Holmes or see classic Doctor who or watch the UK version of American shows is like this. Or read the novels of their favorite movies/tv shows is like this. I've never accused a man of this, although a male or faux male even, started me on this hobby horse. And I've never read the True Blood books, I've never actually picked up copies of some of the classic books I enjoy preferrring to listen to them on audio book. So am I picking up the male paradigm of making fandom an elite club?
As for comics, I am slowly dipping my toes in there. It's a huge interconnected universe with a long history. Yes like Doctor who. But until that I have no idea where to start with ret-cons and reboots and all the story archs it gets confusing and tangled. All I want to do is read about Deadpool but does that mean I have to read all the rest of the Marvel universe? It makes my head ache.
Fandom is not a club just for 'cool' girls and fanboys. I should know this.
